It’s a long road from joy to repentance, but the following images show one possible path. Enjoy Jason Rufov’s work and get lost in the details. Cover picture: Am I The Water. Jason, captured by Eugenio Andrade Schulz >> click here
“I find it difficult to exactly describe what motivates the work I make because I tend to flip around a lot and explore different interests, but I’m interested in how much eroticism shapes our core realities and memories, especially nostalgia. Which I guess is why I’m most drawn to nostalgic references that I collage with erotica to bridge the gap between the dead naivety of our past I (we?) feel so longing towards. Everything I make is with graphite and coloured pencils because it’s simple, effective and timeless.” – Jason
