Japanese manga has influenced my approach to line and expression, while my interest in artistic anatomy shapes the structure of my drawings. At the same time, Symbolist and Pre-Raphaelite painters remain an important reference for their ability to evoke inner states and emotional (and sesnual) atmospheres.”
