‘US AND THEM’ is the story of Julian Camilo and David Mesa who are two long distance lovers that bring us along their adventurous romance through their different yet complementary passion for photography.
Both lovers document their second encounter in the fresh and isolated city of Sicily, Italy. Julian presents a series of honest self portraits where we are able to see the tenderness between both photographers. Meanwhile, David compliments this with a series of portrait and landscape photographs from the quiet city in Italy that sets a dreamlike time and place of their romantic getaway.
‘US AND THEM’ illustrates the love and longing of two distinct photographers that come together and in the end, compliment each other with romance, light, and fantasy in a world where they create reality.
