‘In the Mood for Love’ – story by Studio Pegasus, model: Isaiah. Captured for PNPPL ZINE ISSUE 10. What was the photo shoot like? Find out in the interview below!

How did you find each other for the photo shoot? Was there any preparation before shooting?
Studio Pegasus: We started to follow each other on Instagram. I love Isaiah’s look and simply mentioned that it would be great to take photographs of him. He was totally down and exited about it. I always love to involve my models in the creative process, so we exchanged a few messages to determine what vibe we should go for; we also put some references/moodboards together. We agree on something intimate, sexy and playful, then we made it happen!
Isaiah: We connected through Instagram—he reached out, and I checked out his profile. I really liked his work—moody, sexy, and totally my vibe.

What was the first impression of each other?
Studio Pegasus: We decided to do the shoot at Isaiah’s place – I kinda like to photograph models in their own space – As soon as I met Isaiah, I got immediately inspired. He was super comfortable, easy going, and open to a lot of ideas and poses, which helps a lot!
Isaiah: The biggest hurdle was syncing our schedules. Once we nailed down a time, everything else fell into place effortlessly.

If there was – what was the most difficult thing during the shooting?
Studio Pegasus: Probably for Isaiah to hold a few challenging poses! Haha
Isaiah: Can’t say there was one – everything flowed naturally.

Studio Pegasus, what do you do when you are not photographing?
I am also a freelance makeup artist, working on editorials, advertisings and with celebrities. I have obviously been surrounded by photographers my whole career, and learned a lot from that. It definitely sparked the desire to be behind the camera myself!
When I m not working, I love to make long walks in nature, binge-watching a TV show, cuddle with my cats, eating great vegan food… I also constantly looking for new inspirations, from book, art… or simply from people and things surrounding me.

Isaiah, what do you do when you’re not modeling?
When I’m not modeling, you’ll probably find me out on a hiking trail, flowing on a yoga mat, or experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes.
What makes you happy?
Photography has been the perfect escape of the mind. I really enjoy the process of scouting models, brainstorming on creative and exiting ideas. Also there is that great feeling of satisfaction when a shoot is going well and a cool story is coming out of it!
Isaiah: Money 🙂

What turns you on?
Studio Pegasus: Photographically speaking, having a model open to push his boundaries and exited to create art! Personally, a guy who is humble and unaware of his sexiness is a big turn on!
Isaiah: Confidence and dominance. I get seriously hot when a guy is into me and doesn’t play coy about it. He’s got to have that je ne sais quoi—and yes, it’s gotta be in person.
