My main medium is oil painting on canvas and pencil drawing with pastel on hardboard. In my paintings, I focus primarily on male corporeality, emotions and gestures. I’m fascinated by the beauty of the body with every vein, muscle and fold. Inspired by renaissance and baroque art, I try to capture emotions balancing on the border of sadness and pleasure, tenderness and desire. I enliven statuesque characters stopped in motion with color, draped fabric or fantasy landscapes and putting a bit of longing to it.
