About Ethan and the story:
I am an evolutionary biologist and photographer interested in the diverse ways musculature and mobility develop in different people. In this series, we explored a variety of movements taking inspiration from Ryan’s dance background to feature the models’ athleticism and flexibility. The natural light accentuates the texture and variety of tones found in their skin and creates sharp shadows that carve out their musculature. The intimate exploration of each body and their interplay guides me to capture their most alluring forms.
