SMUT: THE SECOND C*MING / SMUT is an uncensored insight into the artistic practices of Dylan Kelleher, J Davies, and Karlo Martinez. It is not only a reclamation of the derogatory, but also a revolt against society’s ongoing censorship of queer bodies and sexuality. Through collaborative and individual exploration, the SMUT Collective has established a cohesive study of contemporary homoeroticism, queer intimacy, and aesthetics. In 2021, SMUT, their self-titled first collaborative exhibition, opened up to great success and reception from the local community. Additionally, the accompanying first issue of the SMUT Zine sold out in its entirety.

The Second C*ming, their second collaborative exhibition, sees the trio delving deeper into their own individual strong points and displaying further artistic growth throughout 2022. The exhibition will be presented in a pop-up format, launching as a single-day event on December 2nd, and will double as the relaunch of the second issue of the SMUT Zine, previously launched in July this year.
