“I studied Fine Arts and a master about Illustration and graphic design. I complemented my academic education with painting workshops taught by Antonio López, Eduardo Naranjo and Andrés G. Ibáñez. Since then I have participated in several painting and drawing exhibitions within Andalusia. Additionally for some years I combined my interest in scenography, working as a set designer, with fashion illustration. Fashion has inspired me to talk about youth and beauty in my drawings. Currently, I’m working in a new series of drawings, inspired by the male body and the nature and vegetation characteristic of the landscape where I was born.” – Juan Miguel Galera
