“I am a 35 year old Italian girl and I have been living in Berlin since 2011 with which I am completely in love. There is no other place where I would like to be.
I started photographing in analogue (I use 35mm and Polaroid) since I was a child, with different phases and periods.Part of my photographic research is based on the nude, on the body, on its parts, on the interactions between bodies, on intimacy and sexuality. This is also my personal research and I think I subconsciously carry it into my photos.
I am attracted to my subjects as if by magnetism, sometimes it becomes a fixed thought in the head. I happen to photograph people I already know but they are often people I met for the first time. There is a lot of dialogue before starting a shoot and I think that is one of the reasons why people enjoy abandoning themselves to me. ” – Stefania
