An analog project “With myself” feat. César, captured by Spanish visual artist/photographer Diego Ezía.
“I am Diego Ezía, photographer and visual artist living in Barcelona. I’ve always had an obsession with light, skin and intimacy. In photography I consider myself self-taught. I never paid special attention to techniques. I care about the way of looking at spaces and what these tell me. I studied Psychology at the University but I was never passionate about it.
Currently, all my personal projects are being shot in analog. I became fond of taking more care when pressing the trigger and the excitement of having to wait to see the results (working my impatience). I also try the different types of film and to downplay the editing. Today I like to show a direct vision of what a space, body or context counts. Without excesses or additives. I put my eyes on a common and habitual place and show it so that people appreciate them.
In this series with César we talk about taking time to find oneself, about the self-acceptance of one’s own body and its nakedness and about learning to live our intimacy without needing anyone else and without judging ourselves. All pictures are shot in analog with Kodak gold 200.” – Diego
