From fashion illustration to portraits and nudes – sketches by French fashion/art student, Matéo Laurent.
These sketches are all of friends or acquaintance I feel I’ve developed a form of intimacy with over the last 2 year as well as some self-portraits also produced over the last years. Although I’ve pretty much always been sketching figures in the margins of my notebooks I’ve started taking a real interest in portraiture when I moved to Paris for my studies as a way to connect and exchange with people. – Matéo
