ABOUT SPORTS MILITIA
SportsMilitia is an art project exploring the fetishisation of the ordinary.
Sportswear is the one consistent in all our wardrobes and yet it has been raised to fetish status by popular gay culture exclusively, from the obsession with the Grey Marl Dick print to hardcore trainer trampling websites.
I started SportsMilitia in 2014 to explore these ideas through a series of masks and armour pieces made exclusively from used sports shoes and apparell.
Finding guys involved in, or excited by the sports fetish scene,SportsMilitia encourages them to live out their sportswear kinks, safely hidden behind the veil of the masks.
