“I tried to focus on silhouettes which are know in mens wear, showing that a wide leg pants turns very fast into a jupe-culotte. A coat worn naked, turns into a dress and asymmetric wide pants turn into a skirt silhouette.
This project was meant to build a bridge between men and women’s wear. With every project I try very much to fight uniformity, normative expectations of social roles & homophobia. My goal is always to include all of the LGBTQIA+ community as I see us as a creative, essential and vital part to any society on this earth, which earns the same rights as anyone else. ” -Yannik
