“I am a queer multidisciplinary artist from Melbourne, Australia. With an empathetic interest in love, lust and vulnerability; my work explores queerness and intimacy and their intersections. This selection of images were documented on a range of equipment; Polaroid 600, Instax Mini, handicap video stills, iPhone photographs and 35mm film. This series documents James and Karlo, who before shooting, had never met.” – J.
“I’ve been exploring bodies and human forms for many years now, but more recently delved further into queer intimacy and queer representation. The exploration includes upwards of 10 different groups/couples/pairings and I’m hoping it will continue to grow. Intimacy is so individual and unique, it can reshape itself and continue to grow just like our bodies. As a queer, gender diverse person, I aim to represent diverse bodies and encourage all queer bodies to love themselves and the wonderful bodies they have. ” – J.
