Exploring Paris with Enzo Tonati, through his series F/1.3.
“When I came in Paris, I started to shoot for big techno parties at the same time that I was studying cine-matography at secondary school. I did it for three years and then I started a more personalwork, focused on the after parties and the underground techno scene. I discovered a group of person that became my friends and I started to follow them everywhere. Each weekend, from nightclubs to apartment.
From the last hours of the night to the last hours of the days. I learned a lot about where I come from and where I want to go. They were the best places to experiment my relationshipwith myself and with the others apart from the codes of society. F/1.3 is a personal diary of those precious moments. I integrated a fashion studio in 2017 and all the themes Iwas exploring with this series are now part of my work, like the identity, the gender, and the melancholy. ” – Enzo Tonati
