Inspired by the hipster photographic trend that popularized male portraits with ornated beards, the two brazilians originally conceived “Buds” as a Polaroid series for an exhibition.
The intention was to re-imagine this representation of “sensitive man” in a more intimate and less idealized aesthetic. The project has been since then ongoing on instagram, where the Polaroid format was left aside but the eroticism is still a sentral element.
